As a manager, do you know what motivates your team? Do you realise how your management style impacts on the culture of your team? Are you managing your stars and underperformers effectively? Are you getting by-in for change within your business and team? In this series of practical management modules, we tackle these questions and much more head on.  

What’s it for? 

This programme is aimed at anyone who manages people including leaders, managers, team leaders and supervisors.  It’s perfect for those new to management and equally beneficial to those who are more experienced and want to learn more about the latest thinking around leadership and management.

Overview

The programme is divided into 6 modules.  Ideally, we’d love you to attend all 6 modules as this is where you’ll gain more from the programme.  However, we appreciate this doesn’t work for everyone, so there’s also the option of booking onto the modules that are most relevant to you.

Each module is delivered in a practical way using numerous learning methods including case studies, group discussions and activities.  Everyone will leave each module with a set of practical tools and techniques that they can use straight away back in the workplace.

Who will deliver the modules?

Each module will be delivered by Mike Ode who is the owner and Director of Potential Unearthed, a Chorley based Leadership and Management training company.  Mike has over 25 years hands-on experience delivering Leadership, Management and Personal Development courses. He has worked extensively across both Public and Private sectors and delivered courses and programmes to a wide and varied client base including Lancashire Constabulary, Chorley & South Ribble Council, Local Pensions Partnership, numerous Law Firms and departments across the NHS to name but a few.

Mike is an excellent communicator and can build rapport with ease; he gets impressive results from working with individuals and groups alike.  With bags of enthusiasm and passion for what he does, this always resonates with the individuals he works with and always leads to a fun, engaging and positive learning experience.
